It is likely that this work was composed by another "G. Faure"... BnF metadata suggests as much, since the linked scan (and several others in the BnF database) are associated with a placeholder composer that currently lacks any biographical information. See https://catalogue.bnf.fr/ark:/12148/cb16963614v. A search of Bibliographie de la France from 1909 shows entries for both "Fauré (G.)" (confirmed to be Gabriel Fauré) and "Faure (G.)" -- note that lack of acute accent on the surname's final letter for the latter name.
