Related Works The Variations and Fugue on a Theme by Handel, Op.24, by Johannes Brahms (1861) is based on the theme of the third movement (Aria) of this suite.

Navigation etc.

  • According to Grove Music, all of Handel's keyboard works were probably written for harpsichord, and the Suites de Pièces pour le Clavecin published in London in 1720 consisted of partly new, partly earlier material.
  • The Minuet in G minor found after the Aria con Variazioni does not belong to this suite.
