Extra Information Reznicek composed the "Praeludium und fuge cis-moll" in 1904 as a piece for large orchestra. In 1905 he prepared a version for string quartet, which he used as the new final movement of his unpublished String Quartet in C minor. Finally in 1921 he published the above version for organ.
