    Grützmacher's edition is heavily edited, including drastic thematic and harmonic changes, but these are quite effective: the "Haydn Woodwind Octet" a lot of people love. Due to these alterations, the Grützmacher edition is listed under Arrangements and Transcriptions.
  • Tagged as a partita only; this is how Grove Music lists it, and it is likely that the "Octet" "Divertimento" titles were given by publishers while it was erroneously under Haydn's name.
