Extra Information The opera is actually a pasticcio based on "L'Olimpiade" by G. B. Pergolesi. Several of the original arias were substituted for other ones from older operas or new compositions by various composers on request of the singers. The cast included the castrato Angelo Maria Monticelli and the tenor Angelo Amorevoli, both later to appear at the Dresden court.
