Much of the material in the early volumes came reprinted from the Breitkopf collected edition, but various works appeared for the first time. However, the series is known for copyfraud by placing copyright notice on the reprint editions without documenting the source material. In addition to Breitkopf, other editions - especially Muzyka - have also been reprinted without attribution or editorial credits.
