Das Titelblatt lautet: "La Follia / Variations sérieuses pour le Violon / par Corelli / Accompagnement de Piano ou d'Orchestre et Cadenza par H[ubert] Leonard / Nouvelle Edition revue et doigtée par Issay Barmas / Orchestré par Max Reger" Regers kompositorische Leistung geht allerdings über eine reine Instrumentation weit hinaus und hat mit Leonards Version kaum mehr als die Reihenfolge der Variationen gemeinsam. Vielmehr handelt es sich um eine freie Komposition, basierend auf Corelli in der Leonard-Ausgabe. (Die auf dem Titel angekündigte Kadenz erscheint in dieser Ausgabe auch nicht.)
