  • Ranges: the solo male vocal parts are both in bass clef, but the higher one would fit the tenor range (though there are a couple of 2nd-line Bs). The lower bass clef part doesn't go below 2nd-line B, and may also be suitable for a baritone.
  • Text: this has been tagged secular, though the preface seems to indicate a duality of meaning. Advice from someone with better translation skills would be welcomed.
