The double bass sonata is a modern-classical piece, consisting out of three movements: a humorous fast first one and a tense somewhat angry fast final, and in the middle a slow somewhat misterious one. In 2014 the piece is revised so that is done justice also to the upper range of the solo instrument. Digital performance based on recording in Sibelius 6 with Garritan Personal Orchestra.
