Miscellaneous information
A massively famous bass singer in the early 20th century, both as a concert soloist and as one half of the famous duo Mr. Flotsam and Jetsam. Flotsam (B.C. Hilliam) sang in a highish tenor voice, whilst an apparent contrast with the very low bass voice that Malcolm possessed. This is seen in the famous saying: "I sing the high notes, and he sings the low notes".
