Miscellaneous information
A British music hall composer, who wrote many hits for the stars of his day. This involved a hairy case where a star confused the relation between Leo and his wife to be intimate and tried to kill him in 1903, he only succeeded in killing himself. He appeared himself after writing for twenty years in 1915. His later career was being a society entertainer at the piano, composing his own songs. His style changed with the times to suit public taste. This was the case with many society entertainers that survived to the Roaring Twenties and Great Depression. He was also an accompanist. He died in 1940.
