- Sonntagsmusiken (1831-1847): a Sunday concert series at the family home. In the summer it was held in a room opening onto a garden. A contemporary wrote: „Fast alle berühmten Künstler, die Berlin besuchten, erschienen Sonntags einmal mitwirkend oder zuhörend bei Frau Hensel." Hensel's choral Gartenlieder, Op.3, and Mendelssohn's Im Freien zu singen, Op.59 were performed there.
