Miscellaneous information
A teacher and editor of music. Lived in Edinburgh. Appointed organist of Peterhead Parish Church on July 1889, but sadly didn't live to enjoy it. After leaving a ball, he got a severe cold, which lasted a few days. A few days after, his body was found on the beach. The assumption is that he committed suicide by drowning, triggered by the cold and other health issues that blighted his last few years.
