An entertainer at the piano, who composed all his own material. Born in Herefordshire, in 1872. He started out for an electrical engineer, according for the 1901 Census. However, he then turned to society entertaining for unknown reasons, as he is listed as "ENTERTAINER" in the 1911 Census. He had a long career, from the late Edwardian era to the 1930s, working well to the radio era. He retired in the late 1930s, after he stopped giving his annual entertainment bill at Thames Parish Church to raise money. He was survived by a wife and daughter.
