- Since the 1820s, Busch, the son of a farmer from Steinheim, was one of the main arrangers at the music publisher André in Offenbach......over a period of 60 years, he made more than 250 opera adaptations for various ensembles.......It is unlikely that he was also the "Herr Busch" who performed several times as an external pianist in Frankfurt in 1810........In March 1839, Busch took the position of music teacher at the secondary school in Bingen, which he held until shortly before his death.
