Copyright Information From 1918 forward, Grainger's works were nearly always issued simultaneously by Schirmer in New York and Schott London, with the copyight claim in Grainger's name. Grainger moved to the USA in 1915 and became a US citizen in 1918. From 1915 forward the "country of origin" was the USA under definition of the Berne Treaty.
