This quartet for double basses has a deep inspiration in film music. Some of the music themes come from an original soundtrack with the same name. In it, can be found some powerful melodies and homophonic sections with interesting harmonies. There is also a middle section that has to be performed with a big grove. The cadenza of the first double bass that leads to the last section has to be played with a lot of agility in the bow. The piece ends with an almost choral texture.
