A set of 24 modern-classical preludes for piano, very different in character, style and difficulty, but overall interesting for the pianist and the audience. Preludes must be little jewels and I hope they are. The last changes are, besides some minor changes, that in 2021 the Nos. 20 and 21 have been replaced, this makes the set now definitive. My personal favourites are Nos. 12 and 22 (the dodecaphonic one). Please enjoy the digital recording made in Sibelius 6 with Garritan Personal Orchestra. Score moving videos on my YouTube-channel. Dutch pianist Chris Breemer made on March 26th, 2012 a recording of the first seven of the 24 Preludes, Op. 39. This performance is on YouTube and he recorded them also for Piano Society (meanwhile the 2nd prelude has been replaced by another one).
