Recorded on a 2018 Glossa CD set. From Gramophone review: “ The first performance of San Francesco di Sales, Apostolo del Chablais took place in Bologna in 1734”. Library of Congress manuscript agrees.

The last vocal passage of the work seems to imply chorus but the names of the characters are soon filled in implying it’s probably just a final quartet- the possibility exists that choral augmentation is allowed for.

Overture published in 2016 in an edition by Thomas J. Martino.
