This page is marked for cleanup because if all parts are eventually found and uploaded, a contents list with accurate instrumentations needs to be compiled so that the tags can be checked for accuracy.

Navigation etc.

  • There is no known Continuo part book surviving complete; only Canto 1, Canto 2 and Basso (voice) survive in different libraries.
  • The Canto Primo part mentions instruments such as violino and cornetto, but the instrumental works cannot be tagged for specifics, or even for ranges, unless a full set of original parts is available.
  • The contents have been taken from this Worldcat entry for an edition by Aurelio Bianco and Sara Dieci. They have reconstructed the missing parts. The only difference between their contents list and IMSLP's scan of the I-Bc Canto Primo part is that there seems to be no La Philippi in the manuscript, and in its place a La Grimani. However, since there is another La Grimani further on in the manuscript, it is likely that the first one has been mis-labelled, and the part is really for La Philippi.
