Louise Dulcken was the sister of Ferdinand David and the mother of Ferdinand Quentin Dulcken (1837-1901).

Also published during Bennett's lifetime as "Caprice for the P. Forte, with Orchestral accompaniments" (Coventry & Hollier, ca.1841). Caprice & Capriccio are perhaps equally valid names (Caprice may be better.) British Library has the solo piano part (only) of the Coventry & Hollier edition. Bennett's own title (on the 103-page manuscript score at Fleisher) seems to have been Cappriccio, however? (Fleisher gives 1840-41 for composition date despite the 1838 premiere; perhaps 1840-41 denotes revision or perhaps 1838 actually was the premiere date of another, similar, work - unless the premiere report or some other source gave enough information to uniquely identify the work, this would not be the only time such a confusion occurred.)
